Our Philosophy

Independence, by Design.

We work with families on the questions that take decades to answer well. The firm is structured — fee-only, independent, partner-owned — to make that possible, and to keep doing it across generations.

How Private Banking is Typically Paid

Most wealth advice in our market is paid for, in the end, by the people whose products are being recommended. The relationship manager is professional and capable; the structure beneath them is designed to distribute products of the bank or of third parties that pay a retrocession.

It places the advisor’s revenue and the family’s interest on opposite sides of the table.

  • Limited Universe. Recommendations come primarily from the bank’s own shelf of products.
  • Retrocessions and Trailer Fees. Compensation paid by third parties that the client does not see directly.
  • Quarterly Product Campaigns. Strategy can follow what the bank is positioned to sell that month.

“We do not sell products. We buy solutions.”

Aligned Compensation

Our compensation comes from one source: the family. We accept no retrocessions, kickbacks, or third-party commissions.

When we recommend an instrument, it is because we believe it belongs in your portfolio — not because it pays us. We sit on your side of the table, facing the market with you.

01 Open Architecture

We are not tied to any single institution’s shelf. A fund, manager, or instrument earns its place through our own review — not through a distribution agreement.

02 Institutional Access

Aggregated buying power across the families we work with gives us access to fee structures that retail private clients rarely see.

Three Commitments

Why independence is more than a marketing word in practice.

I

Fiduciary Duty

We act as fiduciaries — held to the standard of advising in the family’s interest, not the lower bar of recommending products that pass a suitability test. The distinction is legal as well as practical, and it shapes every recommendation we make.

II

Zero Retrocessions

We accept no payments from third-party fund managers in exchange for placing their products. Any rebate that does reach us is credited back to the client’s account, so performance is reported net of fees, with no hidden offsets.

III

Bank-Agnostic

Your assets are custodied with the global private banks you trust. We manage the strategy; the custodian holds the assets. The two roles are deliberately separated.
